A Comparative Study On Technological Adoption In Reference To Fertilizer Technology To H.Y.V. Wheat Technology By Small Farmers Of Agra District.

Abstract
India is an agricultural country where majority of population i.e. about 66% of the working population directly depends on agriculture for employment. To increase the agricultural productivity newer techniques of agriculture production are developing, Majority of the farmers did not fully adopt the recommended practices. Lower fertility often coupled with problems of salinity and alkanity and lack of irrigation facility are the major problems of the farmers. The present study covered 10 villages selected from C.D. Block, Bichpuri, district Agra. This aspect was studied mainly in terms of adoption of fertilizers technology. Out of 210 respondents only 30 respondents have used potassic fertilizers that to majority i.e. 70%, 63.30% and 56.67% respondents have adopted this technology to a low extent.
